SIGNAGE & INTERIOR GRAPHICS
Signage is a part of virtually every project we’re engaged in– but we also create signage and wayfinding programs as a stand alone service. Because signage is implemented in three dimensions using durable materials, and is physically connected to buildings and interiors, our communication designers work closely with our architects. We help our clients to carry out signage projects throughout the process- coordinating everything from fabricators sample approvals to on site installation.
Our range of capabilities in signage is probably best exemplified by Foodie market– an outdoor food and entertainment venue that required the creation of a landmark- for which we provided a large scale architectural framework – supporting illuminated signage marking the gateway to the complex. Our team also created signage to double as ‘instagrammable’ backgrounds, and a system of menu-boards for myriad food vendors.
Whitespace have a great number of contacts in the art community, and have collaborated on a number of large scale environmental graphics in our projects from restaurants to retail stores. In one case- the Whitespace team designed a seafood of the world map, that was hand executed on the wall of the Dock restaurant. In another cases- we worked with artists who created original works and hand painted them on site.
