La Dotta is an intimate Italian eatery and store that makes its own pasta from scratch, fresh, every day. By positioning the preparation team in a window visible from the street, we transformed a typically unseen process into a customer- (and neighborhood-) pleasing event; by making the beautifully shaped pastas themselves a central focus inside the space we elevated them to an art form while at the same time evoking the warm, enveloping atmosphere of an authentic Bolognese trattoria…all on a Bangkok street corner.
